In 2023, Pakistan cricket fans were treated to some spectacular performances. Fakhar Zaman’s unbeaten 126 against New Zealand in a 400-run chase was the standout performance, showcasing the team’s resilience and fighting spirit.
Adding to the year’s highlights, Babar Azam achieved the remarkable feat of scoring 10 centuries in T20 cricket, becoming only the second batter after Chris Gayle to do so. His consistent excellence has become as much a part of our routine as our daily cup of chai.
Oops Moment – Nawaz Sahab:
In a year of ups and downs for Pakistan cricket, Mohammad Nawaz’s slump was particularly noticeable. A batting average of just 19.75 and a bowling average of 58 earned him the unwanted title of ‘Flop of the Year’, showing he fell short of what was expected from an all-around of his caliber.
