After a long wait, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finally announced the 15-member Pakistan’s squad for the T20 World Cup. This announcement was highly anticipated by the fans, who have been eagerly waiting for it.

The team has decided to drop Hasan Ali, Salman Ali Agha, and Irfan Khan Niazi. On the other hand, Usman Khan has been retained in the squad.

In terms of specialist batters, the squad includes Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, and Saim Ayub.
As for the wicketkeeper-batters, Mohammad Rizwan, Usman Khan, and Azam Khan will be playing these roles.
The team also comprises all-rounders such as Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, and Iftikhar Ahmad.

Currently, the Pakistan cricket team is in England for a four-match T20 series. Unfortunately, the first match was abandoned due to rain. Pakistan will play their last match of this series on May 30, after which they will head to the USA to participate in the World Cup.
Pakistan is placed in Group A for the tournament, alongside India, Ireland, Canada, and the United States of America. The most awaited match of the tournament is the India versus Pakistan game, scheduled for June 9th. For this match, a stadium with a capacity of 34,000 has been quickly prepared to accommodate the fans.
