This year, Babar Azam added this prestigious accolade to his name. Representing Peshawar Zalmi, he amassed 569 runs across 11 innings, boasting an impressive average of 57 and a strike rate of 142.6. This achievement marked his third time winning this category, having previously secured the Hanif Mohammad Cap in the 2020 and 2021 PSL seasons.
Batter of the Tournament:
The title of Batter of the Tournament for PSL 9 was rightfully earned by Usman Khan from Multan Sultans, known for his explosive batting. In PSL 9, Usman Khan dazzled by scoring 430 runs in just 7 innings, achieving an extraordinary average of 107.5 and a strike rate of 164.12.
